Doctors List Taylor Among Top — Duane J. Taylor, MD Named in 2010 Top Doctors List in The Washingtonian Magazine

  (Bethesda, MD-- February 26, 2010)  “If someone in your family were sick, which doctor would you call?”  Many area physicians call Duane J. Taylor M.D., according to The Washingtonian Magazine’s 2010 Top Doctors guide.  Taylor, named among the best by doctors in the Washington/Baltimore area, is an expert with double training in ear, nose and throat and facial plastic surgery.   He received top honors as a result of  questionnaires sent to 6500 randomly selected physicians.  With more than 1300 responses, the doctors with the greatest number of recommendations in 39 specialties made this year’s list. Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery LLC will serve as one of the collection sites in Montgomery County for Teddy Bears for the Tree House’s Children. 
 

(Bethesda, MD-December 1, 2009) For the month of December, the Montgomery County Medical Society Alliance and the Montgomery County Medical Society will collect new teddy bears and other plush stuffed animals for the Tree House Child Assessment Center of Montgomery County. These stuffed animals will be given to children who may have suffered neglect, physical and/or sexual abuse. The Tree House Child Assessment Center of Montgomery County assesses approximately thirty children each month. The Tree House provides a safe, neutral, culturally-sensitive, child-focused setting, and the stuffed animal provides comfort at a very difficult time for the child. For more details click here

   
Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery LLC has annual Beauty in Giving Campaign to Benefit the Children’s Inn of the National Institute of Health. 
 

(Bethesda, MD-December 1, 2009) Duane J. Taylor M.D., the Medical Director of Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery, LLC, Bethesda, Maryland, enjoys helping his patients put their best “Fresh Face Forward for the Holidays”. However, he also believes in the spirit of giving as we step into the holiday season and he kicks off the annual Beauty in Giving campaign for Le Visage. Each year for the month of December, he gives a portion of all his revenues generated from cosmetic or aesthetic treatments, procedures or products to the Children’s Inn of the National Institute of Health. In June Dr. Taylor attended the Sinus Forum which is an international meeting convening some of the best minds in the world to learn about, discuss and demonstrate the latest information and technology for the treatment of sinus disorders. In July he attended the combined Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Otolaryngology scientific sessions held at the annual National Medical Association Scientific Conference held in Las Vegas Nevada.

Taylor M.D. (Bethesda, MD) along with Dr. Lisa Perry-Gilkes (Atlanta,Ga.) had a grant proposal accepted by the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery(AAO-HNS). The proposal was submitted representing the Otolaryngology Section of the National Medical Association and the grant was one of three given to promote and educate both practitioners and the public about the specialty of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Duane J. Taylor appointed to the Advisory Board for Montgomery Cares
 

(Bethesda, MD—October 25, 2008) Dr. Taylor has been appointed to the Montgomery Cares Advisory Board. As one of 15 members who advise the County Executive, County Council, and Department of Health and Human Services on the development of the Montgomery Cares Program, which provides quality primary health care, referrals to discounted outpatient specialty care, and limited prescription medications for low-income, uninsured County residents. The Board's goal is to ensure a steady and measurable growth in the number of uninsured County residents accessing high quality and efficient health care services.

Duane J. Taylor M.D. Appointed to Montgomery County Commission on Health 
 

(Bethesda, MD—February 14, 2008) Duane J. Taylor M.D. has been appointed to the Montgomery County Commission on Health. The County Executive appointment, confirmed by the County Council, advises on county, state and metropolitan area health issues and reports on the county’s Department of Health and Human Services’ performance. Represents More Than 12,000 Physicians and Health Professionals
 

(Bethesda, MD—February 19, 2008) The country’s largest ear, nose and throat medical association’s first diversity committee chair is Duane J. Taylor M.D. Taylor, a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), envisions a more formal, organized focus on diversity, health care disparities, health literacy, and cultural sensitivity. He also sees the chance to increase underrepresented minorities within the specialty.
