Microdermabrasion - is effective in reducing fine lines, "crow's feet," age spots and acne scars. It stimulates the production of skin cells and collagen. It has proven to be a very popular nonsurgical cosmetic procedure.

Technique:
The hand piece emits crystals onto the surface of the skin, resulting in a gentle abrasion or "polishing" process. Each treatment takes from 30 minutes to an hour. The number of treatments recommended for maximal results can range between 5 and 12, spaced from 2 to 3 weeks apart. Maintenance of results requires periodic repeat treatments after the initial regimen is completed. Microdermabrasion may be combined with other skin care treatments to increase the effect.

Otoplasty - Surgery of the ear where ears can be "pinned back" by reshaping the cartilage. Recovery time is about one week.

Rhinoplasty (Nose Reshaping) - Surgery of the nose where cartilage and bone are reshaped and reconstructed; excess bone or cartilage may be removed. Skin type, ethnicity and achieving a balanced appearance with the rest of the face is important. Preoperative photographs are taken and discussed with you in detail so that realistic expectations can be met and an optimal result achieved. The recovery time is about a week and a protective covering of the nose is during that time. This procedure is sometimes combined with other surgery (septoplasty) that improves breathing. The recovery time is approximately one week.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) - This procedure involves removing sagging skin from the upper/lower eyelids and/or removal of fat that cause bulges of the upper and/or lower lids. Prior to any recommendations for surgery, Dr. Taylor will go through a thorough evaluation, history and exam, which will include photographs and a detailed discussion. Baggy eyelids may be the result of a family trait, hormonal swelling, allergies as well as the effects of aging of the skin over time. The procedure is usually done under general anesthesia but may be done using local anesthesia if upper lid skin only is being addressed. The down time is usually about 5-7 days, where you can expect some swelling and bruising however makeup can be used after five days. Recovery time is approximately one week.

Rhytidectomy (Facelift) - In facelift surgery, excess skin is removed and muscles are tightened to rejuvenate and lift. A thorough discussion and review of photographs takes place prior to surgery. A skin care regimen before and after surgery is included.  Recovery time is approximately two weeks.

Browlift - The brow lift is best used in patients from 40 and 70 seeking to eliminate unwanted furrows and deep forehead lines. This procedure also helps to eliminate premature aging signs such as drooping eyebrows. The surgical time is about one to two hours, and you return home the same day.The recovery time is one to two weeks.

Forehead Lift - Surgery to minimize forehead lines and wrinkles, and elevate brows to reduce lid drooping. Recovery time is about 10 days.

Submental Lipectomy - Surgery beneath the chin to eliminate "double" chin; excess fat is removed. This may be done using a liposuction technique.

Scar Removal & Revision - This procedure involves removing the existing scar and creating a less noticeable scar. Many times this will make it less likely for the eye to follow it and easier to hide with make up.
