Duane J. Taylor M.D. is the Medical Director of Le Visage ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery, LLC in Bethesda, Maryland.  Dr. Taylor is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, with the internationally renowned Plastic Surgeon Clyde Litton, D.D.S., M.D.  Dr. Taylor has over 19 years of experience in clinical practice in the metropolitan Washington area, which includes Maryland, Washington, DC and northern Virginia.  He has been involved in numerous activities and organizations related to community service, medical education and organized medicine. Dr. Taylor has given medical presentations around the country and internationally, and he has been a contributing editor and author of two books. He has traveled extensively throughout the world and also speaks French and Spanish.

Dr. Taylor currently serves on the Montgomery County Commission on Health,which advises on County, State and Metropolitan area health issues. He also serves on the Montgomery Cares Advisory Board and as the liaison to the Commission on Health. He also currently serves as the first chair of the committee on diversity for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), which represents more than 12,000 ear, nose and throat physicians.  Dr. Taylor serves currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Medical Society and was recently installed as Vice-President.

Over the years, he has served on numerous boards including the Board of Governors for AAO-HNS; Board of Directors, Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group; Board of Directors, Medical Society of D.C.;  and Board of Governors, Medico Chirurgical Society of D.C.  He has also been involved in the teaching of medical students and residents from George Washington University and Georgetown University.

Dr. Taylor’s international humanitarian efforts include medical missions to South America.  He is on the National Marrow Registry and his local  community service involvement in   has included mentoring disadvantaged youth, volunteering at community based homeless shelters, participating in health fairs, and serving on several advisory boards including the Medical Care for Children Project of D.C.
